Payment
All sales are to be prepaid, COD by cash, or certified cheque.
Preprinted company cheques will be accepted upon credit approval.
Personal and bank counter cheques will not be accepted.
Shipping

There is a $10 flat ground-shipping rate on most orders and/or
backorders under $3,000. (Certain limitations and fulfillment
fee/drop shipment charges may apply). Please check rates for deliveries
to remote locations where extra freight are required. Freight
insurance is provided for shipments (valued up to CDN$20,000)
using couriers of OC choice. Additional insurance coverage can
be provided at the request of customer at additional charge. C.O.D.
charges are extra. All shipments will be sent via ground using
a courier selected by OC. Express, air and special handling charges
are extra. Customers must report any shipping discrepancies or
damages to the Courier Company and OC immediately.
Warranty
Ottawa Computech values your business and always attempts to provide
you the very best of service.
Unless otherwise specified below, all products are sold with a
one year parts & labour warranty against defects in material
and workmanship. This warranty does not cover defects caused by
misuse or any physical damages caused by the customer. OC will
not be liable for any damages resulting from the use of our products.
All warranty returns are subject to the RMA return policy as below.
• All CPUs have one-month warranty through OC. After one-month
customer may contact manufacture directly if still within manufacture
warranty period.
• Routers have one-month warranty thru OC. After one-month
customer may contact manufacture directly if still within manufacture
warranty period.
• All used products have 30 days warranty. OC do not provide
any software’s or support for used products (you may purchase
any software from sales department).
• For printers, CRT Monitors, LCD TV/Monitors and new Laptops
come with manufacture warranty. Customer can contact with manufacture
directly if product is still under warranty. We apologize for
any inconvenience.
Errors, Misprints and Omissions on our Site
Ottawa Computech endeavors to provide current and accurate information
on our website. Nevertheless, errors and misprints may occur.
Accordingly, OC reserves the right to reject, correct, cancel
or terminate any order for goods or services for which the price
was incorrectly displayed or where we otherwise displayed erroneous
or inaccurate information. OC reserves this right at any stage
of the order processing, including after an order has been submitted
and whether or not the order has been confirmed. OC is not obligated
to sell products or services based on errors or misprints on our
website.
All Hard drives have one year warranty from OC after one year
customer can contact with manufacture for RMA if still within
manufacture’s warranty period.

RMA Return Policy
Prior to shipping products back to OC, a Return Merchandise Authorization
(RMA) number must be obtained from our Service/Technical Department.
In order to process your RMA return promptly, the products must
be returned prepaid to our store with the following:
1. A copy of the original invoice or packing slip showing the
serial number.
2. A brief note describing the problem and defective symptoms.
3. All manuals, accessories and original packaging.
4. RMA number on a clearly visible removable sticker on the outside
of the box. Box must be clean and free of marks.
All collect shipments will be refused. Improper packaging, physical
damage, or alteration of serial numbers will void all warranties.
All goods returned for warranty that are found to be non-defective
(or damaged as a result of misuse including static discharge)
will be shipped back to the customer collect. Service charges
$30.00 per item will apply if the returned product proves not
to be defective
Dead On Arrival (DOA)
DOA products and/or any shipping discrepancies must be reported
to OC within 48 hours of receipt of goods. DOA returns are subject
to the RMA return policy outlined in this document.
Returns for Credit
All purchase items if not used can be return within 3 business
days subject to a 15% restocking charges. Merchandise will be
accepted for credit only if returned in "as-new" resalable
condition, including original packing, manuals,accessories and
original sales receipt.
